So proud of these St. Mary's alumni going out and making a difference in the lives of others. Great job, gentlemen! The GPG has partnered with a few different local organizations to bring a mentoring program called L.I.F.T. to the fifth grade boys at Greensburg Elementary School. This program focuses on Love, Interest, Focus, and Time. We would like to thank Officer Bridges and Echo of the GPD, James Ogle of Reclaim Fitness, Matt Whipple of Foundations for Recovery, and GJHS teachers Matt Slaven, Josh Grossman, and Dennis Spears for volunteering their time and presenting on various topics. These young men are beginning a critical period in their adolescent lives and the tools they picked up along the way through this program help provide a firm foundation on which to build.

In addition, GPG would also like to thank GCHS SADD Club members Shane Able, Hunter Koors, Jacob Koontz, Bryant Menkedick, and Connor Witkemper for the time and valuable mentorship provided to these young men.

And lastly, a huge thank you to Chris Fogle and Jeff Hermesch of Purdue Extension, and Blake O’Mara of O’Mara Foods for their investment of time back into the youth of our community. Kingmakers, all of you!

It was a great day at Chruch & a great party we had afterwards! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Having my picture taken with my Godparents

The Knights if St. John holding their swords for us to walk under! It was a wonderful day!

I'll be there to see grandchild number 8 receive his First Communion. God bless them all!

Dad straightening my veil! (Mom had just got out of the hospital and couldn't be there, so it was Dad in a room full of Moms.)

My baptism and getting engaged that night!!!

Yes I do remember my First Communion. Spring of 1983 (remember the year because it was after Tony died in 1982) and I also remember the guys watching Texas chainsaw massacre in the living room. So many things happened during my second grade year

Guess I'm the Old timer here. Mine was in 53'. The boy's and girls were in white, head to toe. Our new prayer books differed in that the girls were white and boys black. Fr. Zimmer presided. Then we were gathered on the steps in front of the church for our pictures. In that time, the Mass and music were in Latin.

1973. The communion rail and walking underneath the KC members’ swords in a ‘V’ down the aisle to the rail. Fr. Laugel was our priest.

Mrs. Wilmer is still planning on being in her preschool classroom at 8:20, but as always, if you feel it isn't a good idea to travel in the fog, feel free to come at the delay time. ... See MoreSee Less

Great pics! They all look so nice! Growing up way too fast!

Great pics! Still remember when we had our 6th Grade dance in the old St. Mary's Gym! I believe that might've been the first school dance ever! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

It was sad to see CSW come to an end, but we did so by acknowledging our FACULTY AND STAFF members who keep our school going! Staff members were treated a delicious, long lunch (Many thanks to our School Commission!!), and parent volunteers (We ❀ you!) came in to cover classes. We ended the day with our annual fundraiser kick-off. (Anyone recognize that crazy cow???) Oh, and the best part--it was pajama day!! Thanks to all of you for making this week-- and EVERY week-- fantastic! #CSW2019 #welovestmarysgburg ... See MoreSee Less
