It's Catholic Schools Week, and yesterday was designated Superhero Day. We didn't get to dress up like we had planned because of the snow day, but we still want to say thank you to so many people for being everyday superheroes in our lives. From our community healthcare workers, police, fire, EMS, mail and delivery people to our parishioners, family members, and SO many more...THANK YOU!

I wish kids had at least one "real" snow day a year like when we were kids, remember the excitement of listening to the radio waiting for our school to be announced? They are missing out!

If we weren't e-learning today, we would have to make the day up on President's Day. Any snow days after that would be made up the first week of Spring Break.

The 8th graders take a class each year in Broadcast Journalism and produce a twice-weekly news broadcast for the school. They plan, produce, star in, record, and edit the entire broadcast themselves. Here's one of this week's episodes with some great information about the Chili Supper this weekend!!
