♥️🧩♥️We celebrated Red Ribbon Week the last week of October. The theme was Life’s a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free.

♥️♥️♥️A big thank you to Greensburg Prevention Group for sponsoring our activities this week!

♥️♥️♥️And another big thank you to Jeramiah McAdams, Gracie Shonk, and Dustin Barkdull with Dec Co Probation for coming to talk to the kids about making good choices and identifying trusted adults in their lives that can help them when difficult choices come up.

⛪️We celebrated our faith together at Mass.

The students were treated to 5 theme dress days:

♥️Monday: Red to kick off Red Ribbon Week (We are RED-y to make good choices.)
⚽️🏀🥎🎾Tuesday: Jersey/Team (Team up for good choices.)
👒🎩⛑️Wednesday: Crazy hat (Make your head crazy with hats, not bad choices!)
🦺Thursday: Neon (Our future is BRIGHT when we make healthy choices.)
🎃Friday: Halloween costume (Don't disguise your best virtue!)

Last Monday, our 8th graders’ service project was a tribute to their classmate, Travis Wenning. Travis passed away in 2018 from cancer. Their service project was to collect money for the St Baldrick’s Foundation in an event they called Go Gold for Travis. St Baldrick’s helps families that are dealing with childhood cancer.
