With the extra time at home, some of you might be baking more. We wanted you to know that any cookie dough or other food item that you might have ordered through our fundraiser is safe and sound in the company's storage freezer. We will be rescheduling a delivery as soon as we can after things calm a bit.

Until then, may your families be filled with peace and health. 🙏

Please share.

Only one week left for our once-a-year school fundraiser! Did you know that you can order magazines to be sent to soldiers or gift cards for charities rather than order "stuff" you may not need? There's also coupon books for different cities, including Cincinnati and Johnson Co, IN (which includes a ton of Indy locations), Orlando, Nashville, TN and more! Go to gaschoolstore.com and put in our school code 2498749. Then, type in the name of your favorite St. Mary's student, and help them earn prizes, too! There's also cookie dough and other goodies available-- contact your St. Mary's student TODAY! Thanks for your support! ... See MoreSee Less

Did you know... SMAFA stocks a “School Store” for our students. Students can earn “school store dollars” for good deeds. These 3 first graders were Jesus to a friend in their class. They went out of their way to make a fellow classmate smile. They got to each spend $4 in the School store. Thank you SMAFA for providing an amazing school store! Way to go kiddos! We are so proud of the kind and caring people you’re becoming! ❤️🎉 ... See MoreSee Less

The Christmas season has just begun, and we've been preparing our hearts for Jesus for several weeks at St. Mary School.

-- The Student Council donated $350 worth of toys to the Decatur County Department of Child Services.
-- The entire school collected canned and boxed goods for the Hot Meals Program and various items for the Cheer Fund.
-- Some 8th grade students helped set up the nativity scene outside the building.
-- The Art Club helped us get in a festive mood by decorating our windows.
-- Many students made cards to send to residents at local nursing homes, and the 1st grade students even visited to sing to them.
-- The 6th graders opened the Dollar Christmas Tree Store for students to buy presents for their families and friends and made over $700 to be donated to The Arbor Day Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.
-- The 6th grade also provided daily readings and created a Jesse Tree to help us all reflect on the family ancestors of Jesus.
-- We've all been praying with and for each other through our Advent Angel exchange in our faith families.
-- We celebrated the gift of family at our last mass before break by inviting some alumni to come and help us remember that our school and faith family extends well beyond just those who are here in our building right now.
-- We were graced with a fantastic Christmas performance by the Greensburg High School Show Choir.
-- We sang, smiled, performed, and spent time together, celebrating the miracle of Christ's birth just before heading home to celebrate the holidays with our families at home.

Wow! We've been busy! And, truthfully, this list probably isn't all of it! Now, it's time to relax and rejoice with our extended family-- which includes YOU!-- and wish you a very blessed and merry Christmas from everyone at St. Mary School. ✝️🙏🎄
