We have a lot to be thankful for at SM as we enter this season of Thanksgiving. We know that our students are one of our greatest blessings. So we wanted to treat them to a fun little game we are going to call: Teachers Undercover!
As you watch the video, you might notice the SM staff looking a little *different* today. As the students went about their day, they were asked to be observant of the staff around them and try to crack the secret dress code.
Can you identify the THEME for today’s Teacher Undercover dress code? The students did!!!

I thought I noticed something consistent when I was in the pick up line today!
Hmm..? While I’m clueless as others, I did notice that the staff matched their “tops” and bottoms” All solid colors.That is as far as I can note?? I sure miss you all!!
The Agape Center called us for help in collecting food items to fill their Thanksgiving & Christmas blessing boxes. Our school family came through in a BIG way! Way to go, SM!

Mrs Steffee is our school social worker and does a phenomenal job with our students!! We are so thankful she is part of our team! She had the opportunity to take in some PD at a social worker conference today.

We were visited today by 4 local stars in honor of Red Ribbon Week! Greensburg High School coaches Alex Meyer ⚾️, Collin Rigney 🏀, and Brad Fox 🏀 spoke to the students about leadership, teamwork, and making good choices. They were joined by GPG Be the Wall rep, GHS senior, Cy Miller who shared his experiences with making healthy choices and being an active member of his school and community. Ask your SM students about the relay that ended their talk. It was a fun day! Thank you, gentlemen, for sharing your wisdom and time with us!

What a fun surprise: We got a flag football kit in the mail from the Colts! Thank you, Colts Community and Indianapolis Colts! Our 4th and 5th graders are enjoying their new recess option! Go Colts!! 💙🤍🏈 Other grade levels will also be able to enjoy some flag football during PE classes!

Thank you, GFD, for visiting today! Students in K-2 had firemen visit the classroom. Students in 3-5 went outside to get a tour of the trucks! The firemen also enjoyed lunch with our students. Thanks for being part of our fire safety week!

Huge THANK YOU to the Greensburg Prevention Group who sponsored an inspirational visit from Chad Varga for all of the county's middle and high schools today. He talked to our students about dreaming big, taking actions to make those dreams happen, and the power of faith in God. And, just before he left, he prayed with them. 💙💛
