Join us tomorrow for a "Knight" for Gabby! We are so excited to show our support for one of our 6th graders, Gabby Miller.

School families: Tomorrow (Thursday) will be an out of uniform day. Wear your Fight Like Gabby shirts or SM spiritwear to show your support. (If you do not have a Gabby shirt or SM spiritwear, it will be a normal out of uniform day.)

Catholic Schools Week, 2024! We are happy to say our classroom teacher:student ratios are optimal for student achievement.
Primary: 14:1
Intermediate: 16:1
Middle School: 14:1
Smaller class sizes allow our teachers to better meet the needs of each student. Did you know each of our PreK-1st grade classrooms have a full time aide? We love Mrs. Nobbe (PreK), Mrs. Rather, Mrs. Flinn, and Mrs. Hoeing (Kindergarten), and Mrs. Hoeing, Mrs. Murray, and Mrs. Colin (1st grade).

Catholic Schools Week 2024! Check out these statistics of Catholic Schools in the US. We have students in PreK-8th grade, so we have both elementary and middle school grades. Did you know that our younger students are buddied up with an older student for Mass and other fun seasonal activities? It is pretty neat to see the older students give high fives to their younger buddies in the hallway. It makes everyone feel part of a big family!
We want to hear from you! Do you remember your buddy from SM?

Welcome to Catholic Schools Week! We are so thankful for the opportunity to teach the students in our school while sharing Jesus's love with them at the same time! What a blessing it is!
We want to hear from you! Did you attend SM? Did you attend a different Catholic School? Tell us in the comments below! (And we'd love to hear a special memory from your time in Catholic schools, if you want to share!)

The Wired Knights – St Mary’s Robotics Team finished 2nd in robot performance at the Nov 11 qualifying tournament which allowed them to advance to the semi-state round held in Evansville on Dec 10th. They did well and finished 3rd for robot performance and after their presentation came in 2nd overall. They advanced to the State Championship today, January 20th in Indianapolis and PLACED 4th overall!!

Since last fall they have worked with their coaches to design and build a Lego based robot with changing attachments to accomplish goals set forth by the Lego League Tournament directors. Putting together mechanical parts and software programming to make the robot go through a series of tasks like pushing, pulling, lifting, and turning levers of different kinds. The team thanks everyone for the encouragement they have received. Way to go, Wired Knights!
