We are still looking to fill a 5th grade classroom! Contact Mrs. Buening if you or someone you know would be interested!🌟 We are hiring! 🌟
We are looking for a motivated and dependable teacher to join our teaching staff! Our 5th grade is departmentalized, so teaching responsibilities would be math, science, and social studies while the current 5th grade teaching partner teaches reading, writing, and grammar. Our staff, students, and school families make working at SM feel like home.
Interested applicants are invited to send a resumé to our principal, Mrs. Nancy Buening at nbuening@stmarysgreensburg.com
We look forward to hearing from you.

🌟 SM Alum Spotlight 🌟

Charlie Pumphrey was accepted into the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, after high school. He arrived in June of 2020 for basic training and then began classes as a Cadet in the fall. After four years of academic, fitness, and leadership training, he graduated as a Second Lieutenant in the US Air Force with a degree in Civil Engineering! While there, he was on the Sailplane(Glider) Cross Country racing team where they broke many records. He was also an Instructor Pilot for the Sailplane program on base.
Upon graduation, Charlie was admitted into the Pilot Training Program. He will report to Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas, in August to begin two years of pilot training. After completing training, he will be assigned an aircraft to fly for his career as a pilot.

Join us in celebrating and congratulating Charlie on his accomplishments. Congratulations, Charlie! Thank you for your service.

We had some very special guests in our building today! Our once SM graduates are now graduating high school!! Our students and staff cheered them on as they paraded through the very halls they walked as elementary and middle schoolers once upon a time. We are so honored to be a small part of their education and pray they continue to feel our support and encouragement as they take their next steps into adulthood. Class of 2024, we are so proud of you! Thank you for visiting us! 🤍 “Once a Knight, always a Knight!” ... See MoreSee Less

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is life-threatening emergency that happens when the heart stops beating. It happens in people of all ages, including kids, and comes on with no warning. It’s NOT a heart attack – it’s a structural or electrical issue with the heart.

SCA can be fatal if it’s not treated immediately. But the best way to protect your child is through testing to determine risk for SCA.

Don’t miss your chance to have your student screened for SCA. Giving Hearts a Hand in partnership with Decatur County Memorial Hospital Health Connect is offering low-cost, $15 screenings at Health Connect at the Decatur County YMCA on Tuesday, June 18. The screenings are sponsored by MCORE Foundation, a nationally-recognized non-profit dedicated to preventing SCA in youths and young adults through education, screening, and research, and funded by a generous donation from Giving Hearts a Hand.

Get all the details on the attached flyer for this important opportunity. Use this link to register:
