We had some very special guests in our building today! Our once SM graduates are now graduating high school!! Our students and staff cheered them on as they paraded through the very halls they walked as elementary and middle schoolers once upon a time. We are so honored to be a small part of their education and pray they continue to feel our support and encouragement as they take their next steps into adulthood. Class of 2024, we are so proud of you! Thank you for visiting us! 🤍 “Once a Knight, always a Knight!” ... See MoreSee Less

St Mary’s middle school hosted their annual steam showcase earlier this week.
Their assignment:
8th: Make an impact
7th: Design a house plan and market it like a realtor
6th: Teach someone something new
They all rose to the challenge and presented some amazing topics! Way to go, SM middle schoolers!
Do you have pics of your child’s STEAM project? Share it below!

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is life-threatening emergency that happens when the heart stops beating. It happens in people of all ages, including kids, and comes on with no warning. It’s NOT a heart attack – it’s a structural or electrical issue with the heart.

SCA can be fatal if it’s not treated immediately. But the best way to protect your child is through testing to determine risk for SCA.

Don’t miss your chance to have your student screened for SCA. Giving Hearts a Hand in partnership with Decatur County Memorial Hospital Health Connect is offering low-cost, $15 screenings at Health Connect at the Decatur County YMCA on Tuesday, June 18. The screenings are sponsored by MCORE Foundation, a nationally-recognized non-profit dedicated to preventing SCA in youths and young adults through education, screening, and research, and funded by a generous donation from Giving Hearts a Hand.

Get all the details on the attached flyer for this important opportunity. Use this link to register:

A huge thank you to the Colts organization for bringing their Big Blue Colts Football camp to our school! Students in grades 2-5 learned that it’s important to work hard (in school) and play hard, too! They were encouraged to get out and play at least 60 minutes a day. Some lucky kids even got autographs from NFL legend, Mike Pryor. Coach Mike won a Super Bowl ring as a GB Packer and later earned another one working with the Colts organization.
